Nighttime Skincare Routine

Hey girls! Taking care of your skin is very important. So, I thought I would share my nighttime skincare routine. Just as a disclaimer, I have normal to dry skin. These products work great for my skin, but may not be right for your skin type.

Step 1: Wash your face! Get off all of your makeup, dirt, oil, sweat, etc. Don't use too hot or too cold of water. Using lukewarm water is perfect.
Step 2: Water is not enough to take off all your makeup. I use 2 makeup removers. Avon Eye Makeup Remover and Clean and Clear Foaming Facial Cleanser (I did a review on this, check it out: http://thechicstreetblog.blogspot.com/2012/07/the-best-make-up-remover.html)
Step 3: I pretty much never get pimples or acne, ever. However, it is still important to use something to fight breakouts and remove oil. I like to use the Avon Clearskin Pads
Step 4: Moisturizing is really good for your face, especially if it's dry like mine. My favorite moisturizer is Fruit of the Earth Vitamin E Skin Care Cream. It can be used anywhere and is super inexpensive.

I hope you guys benefit from this post! Taking off all your makeup and cleansing/moisturizing your face keeps it healthy. What products do you guys use? Comment!!

  1. Nice post dear! I love Neutrogena make-up remover wipes. They're calming for your skin right before bed and they do a great job of getting all the makeup off!

Just found your blog through Lauren Conrad's website! Have a great day and I hope you can stop by my blog sometime! <3

    1. I have heard that Neutrogena products aren't that good because it has harsh ingredients like alcohal in it. But, I personally have never tried it. Oh and I checked out your blog, love it! I followed!
